We are dedicated to making life in Kingsburg more interesting.  We are here to expose the issues that you are concerned with as well as promote local artists, musicians, restaurants, entrepreneurs, etc.  There are a lot of interesting and talented people in Kingsburg that really don’t have a platform to promote or express themselves, we are that platform.

In Our Community

Anyone can sign up and post a blog  that will appear on the front page for several days.  In  turn your blog posting will be viewed by hundreds if not thousands of our visitors.  Our site can  be used as a platform to promote your band, business, restaurant, whatever.  Many users have already begun to do so with great success.

If you have an issue with something going on in Kingsburg this is the place to post it.  We have many influential people read our site and take notes.  You will indeed be heard!

How Does This Work?

All of the content on this site is user generated.  Our content includes; members page, groups, blogs, forum, music, games, restaurants, events, photos, and videos.  Feel free to upload videos and photos.  You can post to the forum and interact with other members.  When posting a blog posting your article will be viewed by thousands of our viewers.  If you are a musician you can post a profile on the music section with your own music.  Want to upload a video? You can do so directly to the site or through a third party like You Tube or Myspace.  Photos can be uploaded directly to the site or to Flikr.

What are Tags?

Tags are what are used by the site to organize content.  When you post a blog article, video, or photo, you will be asked to insert relevant tags.  Example: When uploading a photo with yourself in it at a friends birthday you may insert the tags: “friend, birthday, me,”  As long as the tag is relevant to the content you and other users will be able to find what you are looking for easily.

Types of Content?

1. Blog:  Users can post their own blog and the articles will be featured on the front page until new blog postings come along and gradually knock it from the top.

2. Forum:  Users can interact with each other and discuss issues at a more rapid pace than a blog posting.

3. Members Page:  This is where a user can define themselves with their own information as well as design.

4. Groups:  Users can form their own groups as well as control who’s invited and who is allowed into the group.

5. Music:  Bands, Musicians, artists, can post their own special page in the music section with their own music and information.

6. Restaurants:  Users can post reviews in comments in the restaurants section.

7. Photos:  Users can upload their own images directly to the site or through Flikr which will appear on this site.

8. Videos:  Users can upload their own videos directly to the site or embed videos from sites such as YouTube and Myspace.

9. Games:  Users can enjoy the games that have been added to the site as well as comment and suggest more games.
